Project Summary
Before committing to slope stabilisation works in Kingswinford, our client needed proof that the ground could take Platipus Earth Anchors. Umberslade carried out a one-day site suitability test to give the design team the data it needed.
Schedule of Work
Our team installed six test anchors to prove the ground and confirm the suggested anchors were suitable. We completed the test reports and returned them to Platipus Geotechnical Engineers, who processed the data and agreed a design for the slope works with the client.

What happened next
Following the test, the project has progressed to a live slope stabilisation contract. The scope covers:
- De-vegetating the slope face
- Installing 630 Platipus Earth Anchors (500 ARGS anchors and 130 stabilisation anchors)
- Installing 600m² of Geobrugg GREENAX mesh
- Hydroseeding the finished slope with Geogrow
