Acting as Principal Contractor, Umberslade delivered a comprehensive strip-out of a 10-floor property, reducing the structure to a clean, bare concrete shell. Executed to secure significant business rates relief and prepare the site for its next phase of development, the project combined full internal soft and hard strip-out works with critical safety and compliance upgrades to the building’s retained core areas.
Schedule of Work
As Principal Contractor, we are responsible for the planning, coordination, and safe delivery of the entire strip-out operation. The scope includes the appointment and management of multiple specialist sub-contract packages, including:
• Licensed asbestos removal
• Full mechanical and electrical strip-out
• Fire stopping removal and reinstatement management
• Structural steel fabrications
• Associated enabling works
