When Jez Emmett and Gabe Pettitt established Umberslade in 1996, they wanted to be better than any other contractors offering strip out services. The top priorities of the business would be quality of work, reliability of service and above all safety. Umberslade would be of the first contractor to specialise in soft strip out and would build a reputation for these values.
Alongside this philosophy, the company needed an original & strong identity, and the Umberslade brand was born! Our logo and brand colours have evolved over the past 27 years, but our philosophy and the principles we stand by have never changed, and we stated them with the addition of a slogan: 'Trust, Safety & Expertise', a promise to our customers that is backed up by training programmes, hard-earned experience and our work ethic.
Over 27 years as we’ve grown to become the largest specialist in strip out, working across much of the UK and in 2010 we added snag-free-quality groundworks to our services, but our original values have never changed. Umberslade’s standards continue to rise, making us the preferred choice of leading refurbishment and construction firms across the UK.
