We Expand Our Fleet with Investment in Local Warwickshire Manufacturer Thwaites

We have expanded our machinery fleet with the delivery of three new units, marking our first commercial partnership with historic British manufacturer Thwaites.

The new additions include two Thwaites six tonne swivel dumpers, affectionately named Chas and Dave, alongside a ZX135US excavator designated Scoop Dog. All three machines are fully prepared for work and are set to deploy across our latest groundworks projects.

While competitive pricing played a key role in the purchase, our decision was heavily influenced by geographic proximity and a commitment to regional industry. Thwaites has produced plant equipment on its Warwickshire site since the 1930s, situated only a short drive from our operational yard.

When investing in new machinery, it makes complete sense to support a British manufacturer that has built this type of equipment for nearly a century, particularly given its location virtually on our doorstep.

This acquisition comes during a period of active site development across our projects. Looking ahead, we are already preparing to further enhance our operational capabilities with upcoming investments in new 120 rollers and wacker plates.
