Job Description

As we continue to grow we are seeking a Contracts Manager with experience within the demolition or construction industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing a site with the confidence to coordinate with multiple site managers and work directly with clients and suppliers.


  • Liaison with client’s project managers and site managers

  • Working closely with Umberslade’s Operations Manager, Estimators and Site Managers

  • Produce & track project plans using project management software

  • Tracking project financials

  • Preparation of project documentation

  • Preparation of team tool box talks

  • Managing suppliers & subcontractors

  • Ensuring health and safety compliance; equipment & procedures

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working within a similar construction role - Contract Management or Divisional Management

  • Hands-on construction site experience

  • Client facing experience

  • Project and resourcing planning experience, involving software applications

  • Passion to maintain high standards of work and hit deadlines

  • Strong communicator (verbal & written)

  • Adaptable self-starter who can operate independently

  • Full driving license
