  • What hours will I work?
Normal site working hours are 7.30am to 3.30pm, plus the time you will be travelling to & from site. If you have to travel over an hour to get to site you get paid extra. You can also request to work additional hours at the weekend and out of normal working hours (if available), which are paid at a rate of up to double-time.
  • Where will I be working?
Much of our work is in the Midlands, but we also work nationwide. If we work away, we provide free overnight accommodation and daily stay-away bonus pay. We also try to accommodate workers if they don’t want to work away regularly.
  • Can I earn a bonus?
Yes! All operatives are eligible for 3-monthly bonuses based on great performance. CCDO operatives and Site Managers can also earn project-related bonuses.
  • How do I get to work?
Our Site Managers collect our employees daily from the car park of Silhillians Sports Club & Conference Centre, Warwick Road, Knowle B93 9LW. Usual meet time is 6am. You need to make your own way to and from the Silhillians Sports Club.
  • Is there parking?

  • Can I get promoted?
Yes! We are growing and always looking for a future Site Manager or Contracts Manager; if you demonstrate a willingness to work hard and gain experience and competence, you could be promoted. All our Site Managers started as Demolition Operatives.
  • What training & qualifications will I get?
All site employees receive Asbestos Awareness training as standard. If you work hard and demonstrate a willingness to learn & progress, we will also fund your qualification to CCDO (Certificate of Competence for Demolition Operatives) which earns a higher rate of pay. You could also then obtain other qualifications including PASMA, IPAF, First Aid and SSSTS -which is the path to potentially becoming a Site Manager.
