Umberslade - Equipment

All of our staff are fully equipped with specialist tools and vehicles at their disposal; ranging from wheeled bins and plasterboard trolleys to low dust brick saws and vibration damped breakers in addition to the general tools that are carried as standard.

We assess any requirements prior to starting projects to ensure there are no delays due to resource and equipment oversights. PPE (personnel protective equipment) is also carried and used as standard procedure.

We have a fully equipped range of vehicles including: six seated Transit tipper vehicles, three seated Transit tipper vehicles, Transit van, people carriers and various trailers/load luggers.

We have recently increased our demolitions capability with the purchase of an additional digger. We now have a 5 tonne, a 2.2 tonne, a 1.5 tonne and a 1 tonne machine. These enable us to take on a multitude of different tasks from demolishing complete structures to removing block work walls in office areas. The 1 tonne machine has the capability to access areas via a standard single door entrance and a goods lift.

Risk assessments and method statements for all equipment and activities are provided and the health and safety files are also readily available, and every supervisor and vehicle carries a first aid kit.
